Aveo was never an attractive car, but its quality build and decent equipment marked its place.Having a succesful model in their sleeves, GM people have decided to improve its design, too.
Based on 2007 three concept models (Beat, Trax and Groove), new Aveo is clearly a chevy, mostly because of its front grille and headlights.Although its American by looks, it's interior is influenced by Korean Daewoo, dating back to its Kaleos origins.
It comes with 2 engines - smaller 1,2l has 84bhp, while 1,4l reaches 100bhp. But, it still lacks a diesel engine.
Storage space has 220l, expandable to 980l, which is within the competitions' range.
More likeable than before, still very capable for city driving and parking, freshly redesigned and reasonably priced, new Aveo is a decent competitor to Fiat Panda, Citroen C2 and Toyota Aygo.
New member of Chevrolet's Cruze family is a compact van, Chevrolet Cruze Kombi. With 500-1500l storage space it's ideal for families with 2 kids.
It comes with two engines: 1.7l 17bhp diesel and 1.4 150bhp turbo.
First Volts have been sold, TNG powered 1.2l Aveo is at stores, while the second half of the year will bring us Chevrolet Cruze Station Wago and Malibu limo.
