Chevrolet's founders were a race driver Louis Chevrolet and GM founder William Durant.




Mostly sold and produced for US market, Chevrolet has a worlwide known car, too - that's a Corvette, whose name became a synonim for chevy. In US, Silverado pickup is the best selling vehicle, while Impala is best selling car that is built in US.

Chevrolet currently produces over 20 vehicles ranging from small cars, over SUVs to medium trucks - Chevy is the best selling GM brand.

Chevrolet turns to younger drivers - concept Code 130R is a hint of what can be expected.
Code 130R is a sporty 4 seats coupe with rear wheel drive.
It comes with e-assist, which transforms the braking power into electrical which is then used to recharge batteries.

America is turning to fuel consumption savvy cars - proof for that is upcoming Sonic, announced for the year 2012. Sonic is the only compact car completely built on US soil. Sonic's luxurious sport trimmed version will be called ZET spec.


Cruze HB is a 5-door Cruze, with 400l of storage space and new 163bhp diesel engine, recently introduced with Chevrolet Orlando.
