Porsche Cayenne 2009 - gas guzzler goes green
Porsche officials announced that company is working on a hybrid Cayenne, which is planned for 2009. The new Cayenne will be capable of reaching speeds up to 70mph on the electric engine alone, which is far better than any other existing hybrid.
Fuel economy predictions are that it will use no more than 2.35 gallons per 62 miles opposed to current 4.4 gallons. Gas guzzler goes green!

Green Cayenne is a joint venture by Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen.
Panamera GTS is a new member of Porsche's gran tourismo family.
Powerful 4,8l V8 engine has 430bhp and 520Nm torque - it gets to 60mph in 4,5s, while the maximum speed is 180mph. Sale will start in spring 2012 with expected price of $150.000.
Porsche plans to present 2 versions of its luxury coupe - Panamera Hybrid and 3l diesel with 245 bhp. Long term plans include a successor to 997 generation, labeled Porsche 991. It will be larger than Porsche 911, with 20 inch alloy wheels, but its design will be very close to all Porsche models.
