Peugeot 208 - Lion Strikes Again
Peugeot 208 has an extremely difficult task - to continue the path of his successful predecessors, 205, 206 and 207. But, Peugeot has even bigger ambitions, to redefine and set new standards in the B class.

On the outside, 208 is beautiful as it can be. "Floating" grille and boomerang rear lights are the most striking details, but every inch of the car is carefully tailored to fit the needs of young and vibrant people. In the best of Peugeot tradition, 208 is a well-balanced car with few bold design solutions. Overall, the body is more compact than in 207. With 3,96m, its 7cm shorter than 207, total weight is reduced by 110kg in average. Downsizing hasn't affected the interior comfort. Rear seat passengers have 5cm more leg space, while the trunk is 15l bigger.

Interior is completely restyled. Pug 208 is the first city car with head-up display, but the main star of the interior is a huge multifunctional touch-up screen. Add the glass roof, excellent Clarion sound system, or any other imaginable gadget and you'll get a city warrior par excellence!
Pugs were never only about the suave looks, they are great to drive, with carefully tuned suspension and steering. 208 is no exception - of 5 engines, 4 will have a micro hybrid system, called e-HDI. e-HDI is a new generation of start-stop systems, due to which fuel consumption will be lowered to 3,4l. European sale begins in the spring of 2012.
3008 and 508 hybrids come with two engines: 2l 163bhp HDi powering front wheels, and 37bhp electro engine powering rear wheels.
