2007 Jaguar XKR Coupe

Main difference between XKR and XK are additional 120bhp, making it a 420bhp @ 6000rpm beast - extra power adds a growl to XK which will motivate you to keep gear one shift lower than necessary. This 20inch wheeler inspires stop’n go actions - breaks are superb, gas is even better, manu-matic gearbox makes it all whole lot of fun!

It comes either as coupe or as ragtop. Ragtop’s rigid unibody structure keeps the cabin free of excess drafts and noises even at triple digit speeds.

This is not a hardcore sports car like Carerra 911. It’s meant for the driver - combines Jag’s finesse with power comparable with Merc SL or M6, the cars Jaguar sees as its main competitors. M6 is faster, but Jag is prettier and more user-friendly. Paddle shift manu-matic provides more pleasure than Germans one.

Compared with XK, it is a step ahead style-wise, too. Changes are subtle, yet numerous: color-keyed front bumper with integrated fog lamps, aluminium side power-vents, quad exhaust tips etc

Leather trimmed interior comes with all the bells and whistles - this is a true driver’s car!

If I’d be a splithear, I’ll use less white in rear light group - other than that, this car is simply stunning. It can hardly get any better than this!

Having a jewel engine such as V8 used in coupe XKR-S, it's no wonder Jaguar decided to use it in high performance limousine as well.

Most likely it will be presented in the early 2012, with first production cars coming to stores till the end of next year.

Engine specs are stunning - 5l 550bhp petrol engine with 680NM torque will speed to 60mph in 4,9s. Maximum speed will be limited to 185mph.

BMW M5, Merc Eclass 63 AMG, watch out - Jag XFR-S will be a worthy competitor!
