Toyota - basic info and current lineup
Toyota is worlds' second largest carmaker, headquartered in Japan.
Well known for the quality of its vehicles, Toyota was the first carmaker to use fully robotized car factories, but also the first one to abandon the no-people idea.
Toyota owns and operates Lexus and Scion, as well as many other subsidiaries.

Current Toyota Lineup:
- Cars - Yaris, Corolla, Matrix, Camry, Prius, Avalon
- Trucks - Tacoma, Tundra
- SUVs/Van - Venza, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, Highlander, Land Cruiser, RAV4, Sequoia, Sienna
After many announcements and two concept studies, Toyota has revealed long awaited sport coupe - GT 86. Cooperation with Subaru resulted in many similarities with Subaru's BRZ - it shares the same engine, a 200bhp 2,0l boxer, but has a lower mass center and better mass distribution (front 53%, rear 47%).
Toyota GT86 is successor to legendary Toyota's sport coupes - sport 800, 200 GT and Celica.
Toyota plans to present 11 new hybrid models by the end of 2012 - one of those models is a monovolume version of Prius.
Toyota has announced new Yaris, now as hybrid. On the outside only the details have changed - front grille is V shaped and smaller, and water drop shaped headlights are narrower. Petrol engines will be coupled with electro ones, so CO2 emission should be below 80g/km.
